The Nagaland government has declared that on January 26, 2025, ministers and advisors will preside over Republic Day festivities across the state’s various districts. During the festivities, they will raise the national flag and give the Rashtriya Salute. In Kohima, the ceremony will be presided over by the governor. Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, who is in charge of Home and Border Affairs, will preside over the celebration in Mokokchung, while Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang, who is in charge of Planning & Transformation and National Highway, will perform in Niuland.
