The Nagaland government has declared that on January 26, 2025, ministers and advisors will preside over Republic Day festivities across the state’s various districts. During the festivities, they will raise the national flag and give the Rashtriya Salute. In Kohima, the ceremony will be presided over by the governor. Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, who is in charge of Home and Border Affairs, will preside over the celebration in Mokokchung, while Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang, who is in charge of Planning & Transformation and National Highway, will perform in Niuland.
Ministers Jacob Zhimomi in Peren, G. Kaito Aye in Wokha, and Metsubo Jamir in Akuluto are among the other important tasks. Minister C.L. John will represent the government in Dimapur, while Minister Temjen Imna Along will serve as the official in Chümoukedima. Minister P. Bashangmongba Chang will be in Noklak, while Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resource Development and Horticulture, will lead the festivities in Tseminyu. A number of advisors have also been assigned duties in their respective districts, such as K. Konyak in Longleng, Tovihoto Ayemi in Kiphire, and N. Y. Mannen in Mon.
