JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the MG Majestor, positioning it as India’s first D+ segment SUV and highlighting its class-leading dimensions as the longest, widest, and tallest vehicle in its category. The new model aims to set a benchmark in the premium SUV segment with advanced off-road and comfort features. The Majestor comes equipped with first-in-segment triple differential locks—front, rear, and centre—paired with an advanced 4WD system offering 10 off-road driving modes. It also features Crawl Control Mode designed for extreme terrain handling. In safety and driver assistance, the SUV introduces Level 2 ADAS, making it the first D+ SUV in India to offer this technology.
Inside, the vehicle includes front ventilated and massage seats with driver memory and welcome function, three-zone climate control, a 220V power outlet, dual wireless chargers, and an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold alongside a column gear shifter. Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine mated to a best-in-class 8-speed automatic transmission.
In Bhubaneshwar, demand for premium full-size SUVs has been steadily rising due to improving road infrastructure and growing preference for high-performance lifestyle vehicles. Dealerships anticipate that the combination of off-road capability and luxury features will appeal to both urban buyers and adventure-focused customers in the region.
