The District Administration of Churachandpur launched the BBBP Mentorship Connect, an online mentorship platform associated with the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, at Churachandpur College. This launch was part of the International Women’s Week celebrations from March 8 to 14, organized by the college’s Women Empowerment Committee in collaboration with the District Administration. Guided by Deputy Commissioner Shri Dharun Kumar S, the initiative aims to create a safe digital space for female students and young women, connecting them with women leaders and professionals for mentorship. The platform offers career counseling and personal development opportunities and features a “Safe Channel” for confidential reporting of harassment. It was developed with local IT start-up BuildnBIT, reflecting a commitment to local innovation. The District Administration encourages educational institutions and women professionals to engage with the platform to empower girls and promote gender equality.
