Villagers of Umthli under Pynursla PS apprehended three persons on suspicion of being lifters at about 9.30 am on Friday night and informed OC Pynursla. A team from Pynursla immediately rushed there and arrested the three. Later in the day, an FIR was lodged by Rahul Thapa of Goenka Compound that he had parked his Motor cycle – No ML 05 AC 4622 ( YAMAHA MT 15) in the Goenka Compound parking lot .However today at 11:30 am he found that his motor cycle missing.
Accordingly a case has been registered vide Sadar PS Case no 42(02)2026 u/s 305 (b) BNS. Persons arrested are : Pyndapborlang Khonglah ( 26 yrs) R/o Pynursla, Wah Pathaw, Bamkerlang Surong ( 22 yrs) R/o Sohlong, Wahkdait, Iohborlang Mylliem Umlong ( 36 yrs)R/o Lawmei, Khliehshnong. Police aldo made the following seizure from them Hyundai nios i10, Alto 800 ( tourist vehicle), 1 ( one ) VIVO mobile phone, 1 (one) Samsung mobile phone, 1 (one) Poco mobile phone. Investigation is ongoing to ascertain their involvement in other cases of two wheeler thefts.
