The Voice of the People Party (VPP) and the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) have swept the ADC polls to the KHADC and JHADC, respectively. As per the latest results, the VPP has already won 17 out of 29 seats in the KHADC while the NPP has secured a win in 13 out of 29 seats in the JHADC.
In JHADC, NPP bagged 13 seats, VPP with 8, Congress and UDP with three seats each, and, two independent candidates.
While in KHADC, the VPP has so far won in Nongkrem, Laitumkhrah, Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Mawthadraishan, Nongstoin, Sohryngkham, Mawkynrew, Nongthymmai, Mawphlang Diengiei, Mawlai, Mylliem, Mawkyrwat, Umroi, Umsning, Mawhati and Langkyrdem.
