Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday discussed the state’s preparations for hosting the 39th National Games in 2027 with Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha.The CM highlighted the state’s infrastructural developments over the past four years, including the upgraded JN Sports Complex in Shillong, Wahiajer Stadium in Jaintia Hills, and PA Sangma Integrated Sports Complex in Tura. He also mentioned Shillong’s successful hosting of major events like the North East Games (2022), the South Asian Games (2016), and the annual Meghalaya Games.
