Rapido, India’s leading commute app, has launched the “SawaariZimmedariKi” initiative to strengthen the nation’s democratic fabric. In collaboration with the Meghalaya State Election Commission, Rapido sets forth to champion civic engagement during the Indian General Elections 2024. As part of this historic endeavor, Rapido pledges to provide free bike taxi rides to voters in Shillong on the 19th April.
Rapido is offering free rides to voters on election day using the code ‘VOTENOW’, aiming to facilitate voting rights and ensure inclusivity. The initiative aligns with Rapido’s nationwide campaign, which deploys over 10 lakh captains across over 100 cities to provide free rides.
Rapido’s partnership with the Meghalaya State Election Commission demonstrate its commitment to driving change for a better society, demonstrating its dedication to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives across the country.
