The Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Ltd (UPRNNL), a public sector undertaking (PSU) of the Uttar Pradesh government, on Monday officially handed over the new Assembly building in Mawdiangdiang to the state government.
Sources informed that UPRNNL has completed 100 percent of the work in the building after being awarded the contract in 2019. Now, the remaining works left include the interior work of the main hall, the CM’s office and the Speaker’s office.
The interior work has been allotted to a New Delhi based contractor. It is expected that the interior work will be completed by July and the target is to host the autumn session of the Assembly in the new building.
