On the International Day of the Dentist, the Indian Army held a medical and dental camp in Zalenphai village, Churachandpur district, emphasizing community welfare and humanitarian outreach. The initiative aimed to enhance grassroots healthcare delivery and prevent health issues while strengthening civil-military relations. The camp featured collaboration between Indian Army medical and dental specialists and civil healthcare professionals, including Dr. T Thanglenlal DS from the Primary Health Centre, Sialkot. Services provided included oral screenings, dental check-ups, free consultations, routine diagnostics, and essential medicines distributed to villagers of all ages. An awareness lecture on dental health emphasized early detection of dental issues and the necessity of prompt medical intervention.
