Medanta strengthens North India network with 550-bed Noida hospital; Q2 revenue grows 15%

Global Health Limited (NSE: Medanta, BSE: 543654), a leading multi-specialty tertiary care provider in North and East India, today announced the launch of its sixth hospital, a 550-bed super-specialty facility in Noida. The hospital, operational since September 2025 with 226 beds, 81 ICU beds, and five operating theatres, has already onboarded 151 doctors and deployed advanced medical technologies to deliver world-class care to patients in Delhi/NCR.

For Q2 FY2026, Medanta reported consolidated total income of INR 11,189 million, reflecting 14.8% year-on-year growth and 6.4% quarter-on-quarter growth. EBITDA excluding Noida rose 13.7% to INR 2,804 million, while net profit increased 21.1% to INR 1,584 million. Mature hospitals generated revenue of INR 7,200 million, while developing hospitals excluding Noida grew 28.3%, with margins improving to 31.5%. International patient revenue increased 48.5% to INR 762 million, and OPD pharmacy revenue rose 23.9% to INR 456 million.

Medanta is exploring strategic expansion opportunities to address growing demand for advanced tertiary healthcare in the region. Plans include potential acquisitions and site evaluations to serve local patients as well as cross-border healthcare seekers. Other key developments during the quarter included capacity expansions in Patna and Lucknow, and the upcoming 500–750 bed super-specialty hospital project in Mumbai, signaling Medanta’s robust growth trajectory and commitment to healthcare excellence.
