Medanta announces three-day multi-speciality medical camp in Kohima starting June 25

Medanta – The Medicity, consistently ranked India’s Best Private Hospital by Newsweek for six consecutive years, is pleased to announce a three-day multi-speciality medical camp in Kohima, Nagaland, from June 25 to 27, 2025. The initiative is being conducted in collaboration with the Government of Nagaland, Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Directorate of Industries and Commerce, and Nagaland Police.

This medical outreach follows Medanta’s recent empanelment under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) through a formal MoU with the state. The camp aims to provide quality healthcare access to government employees, public sector workers, and police personnel, particularly addressing critical health challenges such as cancer — one of the top five causes of death in Nagaland.

Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, stated, “This initiative reflects our core belief that every life is precious and deserves access to world-class healthcare.”

Kohima has welcomed this development with optimism, seeing it as a vital step towards reducing healthcare disparities in the region. Local stakeholders believe this collaboration sets the stage for long-term healthcare engagement and future infrastructure development in the state.
