Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh conducted a review meeting focused on the Economic Revival of Manipur through the promotion of Integrated Farming System (IFS) at the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The Chief Minister directed relevant authorities to encourage alternative crop cultivation and associated activities specifically in the hill districts. The discussions during the meeting also highlighted the potential for Manipur to export its agricultural and horticultural products, indicating a strategic approach to enhance the state’s economy. The objective of the meeting was to identify methods to invigorate the state’s economic growth by utilizing its agricultural and horticultural strengths. The Chief Minister’s recommendations are anticipated to significantly support the ongoing efforts towards economic revitalization in the state.
