Dr. S. Vidyadhara, Chairman and HOD, Spine Surgery and Consultant, Robotic Spine Surgery, Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru joined virtually for the programme. During the gathering, they spoke about the increasing demand for advanced education in medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and informed choices about healthcare. Borrowed from the Sanskrit word for the process of seeking and finding, ‘Anveshan’ reflects Manipal Hospital’s commitment to ongoing learning, state-of-the-art research, and community education.
Dr. Bastab Ghosh, speaking on the occasion, emphasized, “At Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Centre, the journey of every patient is guided by a team of experts working in close coordination across disciplines such as oncology, radiology, surgery, and rehabilitation.” Joining virtually from Bengaluru, Dr. S. Vidyadhara said, “Medicine is an ever-evolving field, and for a doctor, learning is truly a lifelong process.
Every year brings new technologies, techniques, and research findings that have rewritten the way we diagnose and treat patients.” Discussing seasonal health challenges, Dr. Ayush Goel emphasized the importance of preventive respiratory care and stated, “Early diagnosis can prevent serious long-term complications. At Manipal Hospitals, we focus on awareness as much as treatment, because prevention, when combined with early intervention, can save countless lives.” During the session, doctors highlighted that all Manipal Hospitals units are equipped with an experienced team of specialists available round the clock, supported by advanced technology and world-class infrastructure to deliver timely, precise, and comprehensive care. The question-answer session subsequently wrapped up the press conference on an interactive note, with the doctors taking up important health topics-from myths about cancer to the latest developments in transplanting organs-with members of the press.
