On April 10 and 11, both public and private hospitals are set to take part in a statewide mock drill to assess hospital preparedness in light of the increase in COVID-19 cases. Mandaviya had ordered state health ministers to visit hospitals and supervise the mock drills during a review meeting on April 7 that took place afterward. On April 8 and 9, he had also suggested that they examine their level of preparedness with district administrations and health professionals.
