Man accused for sexual assaults’, Assam

Assam man in Jorhat was sentenced to imprisonment for 30 years under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

According to the reports, the man is identified as Biki Gupta, the accused man sexually assaulted a minor girl in 2019. Earlier, the parents of the accused tired to offer 20,000 to settle down the case.

However, the parents of the victim lodged an FIR on April 4, 2019 at the Jorhat Police Station against Gupta.
