On the previous day, security forces eradicated 185 acres of illegal poppy plantations at Khamashom Hill and Leingangching hill ranges in Ukhrul district, alongside destroying two huts located at the sites. Additionally, 20 acres of illegal poppy plantation were destroyed in Khudei Khullen, Tengnoupal district. Concurrently, the forces conducted search operations in vulnerable areas which led to the recovery of arms and ammunition. They ensured the safe movement of 333 vehicles carrying essential supplies along NH-37 by implementing strict security measures and providing security convoys in sensitive zones.
