Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) bolstered its footprint in West Bengal by inaugurating its 86th dealership in Kolkata. The state-of-the-art facility features 14 service bays, offering services for over 28 vehicles daily, along with 24-hour breakdown assistance, driver lodging, and AdBlue availability.
Vinod Sahay, President of MTBD, highlighted the company’s consistent growth, stating, “MTBD has cemented its position in the Indian commercial vehicle market, ranking third across various sectors. Our new dealership, alongside our flagship truck and bus range — BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and CRUZIO — will enhance profitability for transporters through superior mileage guarantees.”

With the availability of Mahindra’s advanced telematics system, iMAXX, Patna’s market can benefit from real-time monitoring and fuel optimization, improving logistics performance. Additionally, Jalaj Gupta, MTBD’s Business Head, emphasized the company’s unique double service guarantee, promising increased fluid efficiency and timely breakdown recovery. MTBD’s Kolkata training center in partnership with Ramkrishna Mission has trained over 1,100 technicians, ensuring top-notch service standards.
