Madhya Pradesh sets Guinness World Record for largest simultaneous Hindu text recital, elevates cultural tourism

Madhya Pradesh has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Simultaneous Hindu Text Recital” at the International Gita Mahotsav in Bhopal. With 3,721 participants reciting verses from the Bhagavad Gita, this historic event highlights the state’s dedication to promoting its rich spiritual and cultural heritage on the global stage.

The record-setting event, orchestrated by world-renowned consultant NischalBarot, who has successfully set 52 Guinness World Records, was attended by thousands of participants, including spiritual leaders and scholars. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised the achievement, emphasizing the importance of unity, self-discipline, and universal harmony embodied by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

The event also included cultural performances and spiritual discourses, drawing global attention to the state’s cultural tourism potential.
