Nissan Motor India has announced that its New Nissan Magnite has secured a prestigious 5-star overall safety rating from Global NCAP, reinforcing its commitment to passenger safety. The right-hand drive (RHD) variant, manufactured in Chennai and exported to over 65 countries, scored 5 stars in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 3 stars in Child Occupant Protection (COP), placing it among the safest compact SUVs across India and South Africa.
Engineered on the enhanced CMF-A+ platform, the Magnite comes equipped with 40+ standard safety features including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Hydraulic Brake Assist. Its robust structure features 67% high tensile steel and meets advanced GNCAP protocols for frontal and side impact protection.
