A 4-day book fair has been organized in the city by Kitab Lovers, specializing in selling books at affordable costs. The Book-fair begins on (May 25) at singhi palace, Gariahat road, Daver Terrace, Ballygunge and will conclude on May 28.
Kitab Lovers has hosted over 50 book fairs in 20 cities in India since 2019. Through their ‘Load the Box’ campaign, they aim to make reading affordable and accessible for all Indians. They have a Hindi books section with over 500 titles, a reading corner, and a separate section for newly launched titles. The book fair is a 4-day event featuring over 10 lakh new and pre-loved books from over 20 genres.
Customers can pay one-time for a box and fill it with as many books as the box can hold. The boxes are available in three sizes ranging from Rs 1199 to Rs 2999. Rahul Pandey, co-founder and CEO of Kitab Lovers, said, “From toddlers to senior citizens, whether customers are into mystery, self-help, romance, fiction or nonfiction, we have books for everyone.”
