LG Electronics India launches the third edition of its Mega Blood Donation Campaign

LG Electronics India has launched its third Mega Blood Donation Campaign, aiming to mobilize communities and inspire youth to participate under the theme “Life’s Good When Life’s Shared.” This year, the company plans to organize 400 blood donation camps across 70 cities, targeting 30,000 registrations.

Following the success of previous campaigns in 2019 and 2023, which saw 17,700 registrations across 188 camps, the initiative will offer donors medical checkups, refreshments, and certificates of appreciation. LG has partnered with organizations like Care Today Fund, United Way Mumbai, and Sakashm Bharti Foundation to promote a stronger voluntary blood donation culture.

Speaking about the initiative, LG Electronics India MD Hong JuJeon said, “This campaign reflects our commitment to making life better for people. We aim to raise awareness and mobilize communities to donate blood.” In Kolkata, LG’s campaign is expected to attract strong participation from local residents. The city’s vibrant community and healthcare advocates are expected to help boost the initiative’s impact. Awareness campaigns via radio and digital platforms will further engage Kolkatans to pledge their support.
