Leishemba Sanajaoba calls for rehabilitation package for Manipur

Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba today addressed the house, drawing attention to the ongoing crisis in Manipur. In his speech, Sanajaoba called for a comprehensive rehabilitation package and a long-term solution to ensure peaceful co-existence in the state.

Sanajaoba noted that the tension in Manipur is gradually subsiding and normalcy is slowly returning, expressing optimism for a peaceful resolution in the near future. He praised the efforts of union and state leaders for their dedication and expertise in working towards peace.

“I express my gratitude to the union and state leaders for their steadfast, far-sighted efforts in bringing about a near peaceful solution in Manipur. I suggest that the Union Government intensifies its efforts to expedite the peace process and resettlement,” Sanajaoba stated.

He emphasized the urgent need for a suitable rehabilitation package and additional measures to restore peace and the historical glory of Manipur. “People have suffered enough and they need a respite now. I demand the Union Government to provide a suitable rehabilitation package, a long-term solution for peaceful co-existence, and other necessary arrangements to restore the peaceful and glorious past of Manipur,” he urged.
