LEAD Group survey finds multimodal education boosts learning outcomes across India

A groundbreaking survey by LEAD Group underscores the significant advantages of multimodal education in schools. The ‘Pulse of School Leaders Survey’ reveals that schools utilizing integrated learning systems, which blend textbooks with videos and interactive activities, achieve superior results compared to those relying solely on traditional methods.

The survey, covering over 500 private schools and 1.7 lakh students, highlights that 93% of schools with multimodal approaches report enhanced conceptual understanding in Math and Science, compared to 85% in traditional settings. Furthermore, 87% of these schools see high student confidence, versus 78% elsewhere. English proficiency also benefits, with 79% of schools using integrated systems noting strong student performance, compared to 73% in non-integrated schools.

In Bhagalpur, the adoption of multimodal learning is transforming the educational landscape. Local schools implementing these methods are witnessing notable improvements in student engagement and academic performance, reflecting a broader trend seen nationwide. This shift is particularly valuable in addressing the challenges of inadequate infrastructure and teaching techniques prevalent in the region.
