Kuki-Zo Council meeting in Churachandpur discusses key issues affecting Kuki-Zo community

The Kuki-Zo Council (KZC) on Friday held its 4th Governing Council Meeting at the VTI Auditorium in Rengkai, Churachandpur bringing together leaders from different Kuki-Zo tribes and Inpis from several districts. The meeting served as an important platform for discussion and collective deliberation on issues affecting the Kuki-Zo community.

According to information shared by the council, representatives and leaders from various Kuki-Zo districts participated in the meeting. The gathering aimed to strengthen coordination among different tribal bodies and to discuss matters related to the welfare, safety and future of the Kuki-Zo people.

The meeting began with a welcome address by Pu Henlianthang Thanglet, Chairman of the Kuki-Zo Council. In his remarks, he welcomed leaders and representatives who had travelled from different areas to take part in the council meeting. He also delivered the keynote address and highlighted the importance of unity and collective decision-making among the Kuki-Zo tribes.

During the meeting, leaders and representatives from various tribes and Inpis shared their views and concerns. Discussions focused on the current situation faced by the Kuki-Zo people and the need for coordinated efforts among community organisations.
