Kotak Mahindra Bank has launched the fourth edition of its flagship CSR initiative, ‘Sehat Ka Safar 4.0,’ aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare services for India’s transport workforce, including truck drivers, transporters, and their families. The programme will run from December 18, 2025, to March 31, 2026, with more than 45 health and eye check-up camps planned across major transport corridors nationwide.
The latest edition introduces several enhancements, including issuance of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) cards, additional laboratory tests, and chest X-ray facilities to improve early disease detection and diagnostic capabilities. The initiative is expected to benefit nearly 4,500 drivers and their families across states such as Assam, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab.
Since its launch in 2022, Sehat Ka Safar has conducted over 120 health camps in more than 75 cities, reaching nearly 13,500 drivers. Each camp is staffed by qualified doctors, paramedical teams, and counsellors who provide medical check-ups, health awareness sessions, and guidance on accessing welfare schemes. Amit Mohan, President – Logistics & Infrastructure at Kotak Mahindra Bank, said the initiative aims to deliver preventive healthcare directly to transport hubs, enabling early detection of health issues and promoting a healthier logistics workforce that supports India’s economic growth.
