JSW Group is proud to announce that its Chairman, Sajjan Jindal, has been conferred with the esteemed ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ award at the 15th AIMA Managing India Awards. This recognition highlights his visionary leadership in transforming JSW into a global conglomerate.
The award was presented in the presence of Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada. Yezdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India, delivered the award citation, acknowledging Jindal’s role in shaping India’s industrial growth.
Under his leadership, JSW Group has doubled its revenues to $24 billion and expanded its steel production capacity to 39 million tonnes annually. The company has strengthened its position in renewable energy, cement, and infrastructure, emerging as India’s second-largest private player in the ports sector. It has also made strategic moves into electric vehicles and military drones through global partnerships.
