Joint operation recovers arms and ammunition in Manipur

In a successful joint operation, the Indian Army, along with the Border Security Force (BSF) and Manipur Police, recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition in the Bungjang Village area, located near the Kangpokpi and Imphal East districts of Manipur.

Acting on specific intelligence, the security forces raided the site and seized a sniper rifle, a heavy calibre launcher, a pistol, a single barrel gun, along with ammunition and various war-like stores.

The recovered arms have been handed over to the Manipur Police for further investigation and disposal.
