JK Tyre’s Indian Racing Festival roars to life in Nagaland’s Kohima

JK Tyre, in collaboration with the Nagaland Adventure & Motor Sports Association (NAMSA), brought motorsport excitement to the heart of Nagaland with the grand opening of the Indian Racing Festival at the 4th NAP Battalion Ground, Thizama. Marking the start of NAMSA’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the event drew a massive crowd, offering a spectacular fusion of high-speed entertainment and regional pride.

The event featured, for the first time in Kohima, jaw-dropping displays of Formula 4 and Wolf cars, dazzling fans with their power and precision. Young karting prodigies, some as young as nine, stunned the audience alongside seasoned rally champions. Enthusiasts were also treated to gravity-defying stunts by Superbikes and precision drifting by Lexus and BMW machines, all performed on JK Tyre’s high-performance Levitas Ultra tyres.

In Kohima , the event brought a fresh wave of economic and cultural vibrancy. Local businesses reported a surge in footfall and sales, with market vendors and eateries benefitting from the motorsport buzz. The event also spotlighted Kohima as an emerging destination for national events, drawing attention from beyond the region. Next stop for the Indian Racing Festival: Aizawl on April 16.
