Amidst an atmosphere charged with anticipation and optimism, Shri Jayant Chaudhary assumed the mantle of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The scene at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi, radiated a sense of renewal and purpose as Shri Chaudhary stepped into his role, welcomed by Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of MSDE, in a ceremony symbolizing the dawn of a new era in skill development.
In his inaugural address, Shri Chaudhary painted a compelling vision of a renaissance in skill empowerment, echoing the ethos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ He articulated a narrative of inclusivity, stressing the imperative of equipping India’s diverse youth population with the tools for success in an ever-evolving global landscape.
Shri Chaudhary’s leadership heralds a shift towards holistic development, with a focus on not just bridging the skills gap but fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. Under his stewardship, MSDE is poised to reimagine Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) as hubs of creativity and excellence, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and industry-aligned curriculum.
