C. P. Radhakrishnan Hails Centre’s Pact with Nagaland Govt and Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation

The Vice President of India, CP Radhakrishnan, announced a tripartite agreement involving the Centre, the Nagaland government, and the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization as a significant step towards resolving long-standing issues in eastern Nagaland. Speaking at Nagaland University’s 8th Convocation, he emphasized the importance of peace for development and encouraged graduates to adapt to the fast-paced changes in today’s world. He recognized the university’s contributions to higher education and commended the infrastructural and peace initiatives in the Northeast over the past decade. The Vice President is on a visit to Nagaland, Mizoram, and Tripura from March 6-8, where he will attend convocation ceremonies at Mizoram University and Tripura University and engage with women SHG members in Tripura.
