IPL 2026: Guwahati Gets Three Matches, Rajasthan Royals Set for Pre-Season Camp from March 17

Three matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will take place in Guwahati, as announced by the Assam Cricket Association (ACA). The Rajasthan Royals will host these matches, starting with their first game against Chennai Super Kings on March 30 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium. This will be followed by a match against Mumbai Indians on April 7, and the final home game will be against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 10.

The ACA expressed gratitude to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for allowing Guwahati to once again be a venue for matches in this renowned T20 league. In preparation for the season, the Rajasthan Royals are set to begin their pre-season training camp in Jaipur on March 17. During this camp, players will focus on training, fitness sessions, and net practice at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, under the supervision of head coach and Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara. The team’s training will emphasize team cohesion, intensive preparations, and match strategies.

Additionally, some players, including Ravi Bishnoi, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja, previously attended a fitness assessment camp at the franchise’s High Performance Centre in Nagpur. Jadeja and Sam Curran are also anticipated to join the training camp in Jaipur, further strengthening the team’s readiness for the upcoming matches.
