JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, in collaboration with the Nagaland Adventure & Motor Sports Association (NAMSA), is all set to flag off the first leg of the Indian Racing Fest in Kohima on April 12. The motorsport extravaganza will take place at the 4th NAP Battalion Ground (Thizama) from 2 PM, launching JK Tyre’s North-East tour covering Aizawl, Shillong, Guwahati, and Gangtok. The Kohima show marks the beginning of NAMSA’s year-long celebrations of 25 years in adventure and motorsports. “This fest is a fitting tribute to our journey. Our partnership with JK Tyre has been vital in bringing world-class motorsport to Nagaland,” said Abu Metha, Chairman of NAMSA.
The Indian Racing Fest promises high-octane thrills with displays of Formula 4 and Wolf cars, drifting stunts with Lexus and BMW machines, gravity-defying Superbikes, and karting by young prodigies on Rotax Karts. All events will run on JK Tyre’s high-performance Levitas Ultra range. A pioneer in Indian motorsport, JK Tyre has supported grassroots racing for over four decades. Its flagship JK Tyre National Racing Championship is in its 28th year. The brand also enjoys a strong market presence in the SUV tyre segment in the North-East.
