Indian Army holds Medical Camp in Imphal to support displaced families

In a timely and compassionate move, the Indian Army organized a medical camp at Lamlai, Imphal East, providing essential healthcare services to families displaced by ongoing unrest in the region. The camp, aimed at Internally Displaced People (IDPs), was set up as part of the Army’s continued efforts to support the well-being of those affected by the crisis. A dedicated team of Army doctors, healthcare professionals, and local volunteers provided consultations, health check-ups, and free medicines to hundreds of people in the IDP camps.

The initiative was met with overwhelming appreciation from the local community, offering a sense of relief to individuals and families facing difficult living conditions. The Army’s intervention addressed common health issues while also focusing on preventive care, offering crucial support to an underserved population.

This medical camp is part of the Indian Army’s broader outreach efforts to ensure the health and welfare of displaced communities, particularly in remote areas. The Army has committed to continuing its support through similar initiatives across the region.
