Indian Army Holds Health Camp for Residents in Bishnupur

On March 11 and 12, the Indian Army organized a series of medical camps in the Bishnupur District in honor of World Glaucoma Day. These camps took place at three locations: Wangusabal and Hautak on March 11, followed by Siden on March 12. The Army doctors provided essential healthcare services, including medical consultations, basic treatment, and the distribution of essential medicines to over 500 villagers, comprising women, children, and senior citizens from nearby areas. A key focus of the initiative was to raise awareness about Glaucoma and Eye Health, emphasizing the significance of early detection and timely care. Additionally, attendees were encouraged to participate in an upcoming “Integrated Multi-Speciality Medical Camp” to be held at various locations including Ningthoukhong, Molphei Tampak, Sendra, Leisang, Sawongbung, and YKPI, which aims to provide expanded healthcare services to a broader section of the community.
