On Wednesday, The Assam Petroleum Mazdoor Union (APMU) has announced for a strike in Assam. The date is schedule from 4th March.
According to the reports, the strike is for demanding higher remuneration and other statutory benefits.
Due to the strike there will be shortage of fuel in retail market.
Also the workers will stop loading and unloading at seven LPG plants in Assam — six owned by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and one by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL).
