Iran is lifting visa requirement for 33 countries including India. If you see the list also includes Saudi Arabia with which Tehran had frosty relations for years until recent rapprochement, along with Lebanon, Tunisia and several Central Asian, African and Gulf nations. In fact an open door policy will present Iran’s determination to engage with different nations, the government said as reported by ISNA.
