Imran Khan’s temporary release in eight cases, including the judicial complex riot case from last month, was extended by a Pakistani high court on Thursday until April 18. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief’s bail requests were considered by a two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court, which was presided over by Chief Justice Aamer Farooq. The PTI chief was not present for the hearing.
