The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination began without issues in Nagaland, where students took the English paper across 68 centres. A total of 16,095 candidates from Arts, Commerce, and Science streams are participating this year. Ramgumbung Nsarngbe, Secretary and Chairperson (additional charge) of the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), reported a peaceful first day with no malpractice incidents. The Board ensured that arrangements for the fair conduct of the examinations were in place, advising students to maintain calm and adhere strictly to the guidelines provided.
