In a bid to enhance road safety awareness among the youth, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) conducted a comprehensive road safety campaign in Dimapur, Nagaland. The initiative, held across Livingstone Foundation International, Shalom Public School, and Sakus Mission College, educated over 1,900 students and staff members on responsible road behavior.
HMSI’s campaign featured an array of interactive activities, including theoretical lessons on safe riding, danger prediction training, helmet awareness sessions, and hands-on experience with Riding Trainers. These activities aimed to instill a culture of road safety among young participants and prepare them to become responsible road users. “This initiative is part of our larger commitment to making India’s roads safer and nurturing a new generation of road safety ambassadors,” an HMSI spokesperson stated.
Dimapur, known for its bustling market and vibrant community, welcomed this initiative with enthusiasm. As a key commercial hub, road safety is crucial to ensuring smooth daily operations and protecting the lives of its residents and visitors. By engaging local schools, HMSI reinforced the importance of community-driven efforts in promoting safer roads.
