Hinduja College of Commerce is advancing towards deemed university status, marking a significant milestone in its 75-year legacy. At the anniversary celebration, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, urged corporate India to invest in specialized educational institutions, emphasizing that education should not be driven by commercialization but by a vision for national development.
Ashok Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Foundation, announced plans to expand student capacity multi-fold with a state-of-the-art facility set for completion by 2028. The college will introduce new programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Climate Finance, and Export-Import Management, reinforcing its commitment to industry-driven education. Hinduja Foundation, which has already impacted over 700,000 students, aims to empower 1 million students by 2030 through various initiatives.
With NAAC A+ accreditation and autonomous status under NEP 2020, Hinduja College’s transformation aligns with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. The event also witnessed the presence of Maharashtra Governor Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, with the Vice President felicitating outstanding students for their achievements.
