Hindu temple will open on old mosque site, Modi’s promise to be fulfilled

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is close to fulfilling a decade year old promise to be built a temple for Hindus.

As per the announcement, the temple will be opening in the month of January as it’s believed to auspicious time.

The first detailed descriptions of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir was released which showed its lavish decorated structure that is being built on the site of the Babri Masjid that was destroyed by right-wing Hindu mobs in 1992.

The controversial new Hindu temple will be located in the holy city of Ayodhya, state of Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, Muslims claim that a mosque was built there in 1528. And on the other hand, Hindus believe the Babri Masjid was built on the ruins of a Hindu temple, which was allegedly destroyed by Babar, the first Mughal emperor of South Asia.
