Arapti Junior High School, in partnership with Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic and Apollo Diagnostic located at Lilong Bazar, successfully organized a free medical check-up camp on its premises in Arapti Mayai Leikai. Sponsored by Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic, the event aimed to provide medical services to the students, their families, and the surrounding community without any charge.
Dr. Konthoujam Rishikanta Singh from the Ayush clinic emphasized the clinic’s mission to offer treatment free from side effects, highlighting the importance of maintaining good health among the youth, who represent the future generation. During the camp, four doctors attended to a total of 207 individuals, including students, family members, and residents, providing them with examinations and addressing a range of health issues.
The medical camp offered treatments for various ailments such as allergies, sinusitis, fever, gastric problems, and more complex conditions involving liver and kidney issues, heart and mental health concerns, and gynecological problems. In addition to consultations, free medications were distributed to participants.
Soibam Sachikumar, the Headmaster of the school, highlighted that this initiative was crucial for safeguarding students’ health. Further, Konsham Mormon, the Chairman of the School’s Managing Committee, expressed gratitude towards Lilong Ayush Pharmacy and Clinic and Apollo Diagnostic for their generous support in organizing the health camp, marking a significant effort to promote community health and well-being.
