Hamirpur CMO cautions public amid rising H3N2 flu cases

The chief medical officer (CMO) of Hamirpur recommended people to wear face masks and keep enough space between each other on Saturday due to an increase in H3N2 flu cases. At a workshop held here, CMO R K Agnihotri declared that H3N2 flu cases are “growing rapidly” across the nation while speaking to block medical officers (BMOs), medical officers, and doctors affiliated with community health centres.
He gave orders to all the BMOs and physicians to increase COVID-19 sampling in their respective regions and keep track of all flu cases.
