Guwahati to Host 6th Adingiri Rashtriya Natya Utsav

The scenic Adingiri Hills is set to transform into a vibrant cultural hub as Abhigyanm prepares to host the 6th Adingiri Rashtriya Natya Utsav-2026. Scheduled to take place from March 13 to 15, 2026, the three-day extravaganza promises a unique blend of performing arts and nature, further cementing the region’s burgeoning “Theatre Tourism” concept.

Held at the Abhigyanm Natya Kshetra in Sankardev Nagar, Maligaon, the festival offers an immersive experience where the raw beauty of the hills serves as a backdrop for some of the country’s most compelling stage narratives. Hands-on sessions, Panel Discussions and Masterclasses by renowned national personalities.

The 6th edition boasts a diverse lineup, bringing together acclaimed groups from Assam and West Bengal. Notable directors, including Himanshu Prasad Das, Manimala Das, Mukul Oedipus, Ronhang Choudhury from Assam, Avik Bhattacharya and Arpan Chakraborty from West Bengal, will showcase their latest works.
