Giriraj Singh(Minister of Rural Development) has introduced ‘Sangathan Se Samriddhi’ scheme on 19th of April 2023. It will strengthen marginalized rural households by guiding all rural women into the community of Self Help Groups (SHGs). Delivering a speech on the event, Giriraj Singh told, the scheme aims to reach upto 10 crore women under the sphere of SHGs from the present data which is nine crore and also wants that an individual connected with the scheme should be able to make their earnings atleast a lakh per year. He also motivated women to produce millets.
