Godrej has provided equipment to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital to enhance its healthcare facilities, as part of a philanthropic effort. At a cost of $52,93,926/-, Godrej donated four cutting-edge anesthesia devices and twelve cutting-edge OT tables to the operating rooms at GMCH. This assistance seeks to improve the hospital’s capacity to meet community healthcare needs and raise regional patient care standards.
The new facilities were unveiled in an inauguration ceremony attended by Assam’s Health Minister Shri Keshab Mahanta. The inauguration ceremony at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital marked the beginning of a new era in healthcare accessibility and reinforced Godrej and GMCH’s commitment to serving the community. The ceremony was attended by government officials and esteemed members of the medical fraternity.
