The Simple ONE, an attractively priced entry-level electric 2-wheeler starting from INR 1,45,000, has been formally introduced by Simple Energy, India’s top electric vehicle and clean energy start-up. The Simple ONE has undergone several refinement cycles and is now prepared to leave its imprint on Indian roads.
The Simple ONE booking launch received a terrific reaction, with the company registering more than 1 lakh pre-reservations in the first 18 months. Following the formal debut, the firm intends to gradually facilitate client deliveries and scale up its retail operations over the following 12 months.
The Simple ONE sprints to 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds, making it the quickest E2W in its sector and having the greatest range in India. In order to prevent thermal runaways, it also incorporates a thermal management system that was developed with IIT-Indore.
