Glenmark Partnered with hospitals and clinics to create awareness around Hypertension

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited marked May as Hypertension Awareness Month by partnering with 1000 healthcare professionals from more than 210 hospitals and clinics in 143 cities nationwide and organizing 214 public awareness rallies and screening camps to create mass awareness around Hypertension.

The rallies consisted of informative sessions delivered by HCPs who gave in-depth information on the symptoms, and preventative strategies related to hypertension. Following that, blood pressure screening camps were established to allow the general population to test their blood pressure levels. Glenmark reached out to 10 million individuals as a consequence of this effort, thereby boosting illness awareness.

Hypertension is a leading cause of death in India..
