G20 first meeting held in Guwahati

On Thursday, the first meeting for G20 began focusing on sustainable financing solutions inaugurated by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

The meeting is held in Guwahati, Assam.

“Today’s meeting being held in the vicinity of this magnificent land of Guwahati has a special meaning to it as communities from diverse ethnicity and culture, socially coexist in harmony with nature through sustainable practices,” Sonowal said.

The minister stressed the issue of climate change which is increasing day by day and the initiatives that are taken under Indian government to bring it in control were also highlight.

Further he highlighted many more majors to put the global economy on path. More than 100 delegates have assembled in state, Guwahati from different international organization.
