In presence of Assam DGP, GP Singh four United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) cadres have surrendered at the police headquarter in Guwahati, Assam.
The identified cadres are Captain Bikram Axom alias Nayan Patmaut of Charaideo district, LT. Dipok Hatiboruah alias Dibya Axom, CPL Montu Moran alias Latest Axom alias Kulang Moran and Palash Moran alias Gopal Axom of Tinsukia district.
Addressing the media, DGP GP Singh said, “These people had gone to ULFA thinking of something. They have realized it is all futile. So they contacted us and have come back home. We should no call this surrender. This is homecoming.”
